New Year – New Era!

Since the end of last year I have experienced some difficulties with my health and unfortunately I am unable to complete this latest project of mine – The Funny Way To Make A Living Blog – I have so many ideas for it’s progress, but I am just unable to put the required effort into it.

I am happy to say that my business partner, Paul Johnson, has agreed to take over the reins and will attempt to get back on track with the business plan I formulated before Xmas.

I apologise to those who have come to expect more of this site – it is now, unfortunately, out of my hands – and I wish Paul every success with it!

Please give Paul your continued support – I am sure he will fulfill my dreams and build this site into the “creature” I first envisaged many months ago.

Meanwhile, I would also like to thank everyone for the support they have given me over those past months – I really do appreciate it. I love you all!

I’d just like to introduce myself as Paul Johnson (pjCheviot) – I’m the one who “volunteered” to help Jo with this site and set up the “technical” bits.

Hopefully, along the way, I will be able to show you exactly what we did to get this blog up and running and show you step-by-step how you can do a similar job yourself.

Starting a Membership Blog – Part 1

Well I thought I may as well start a series of posts relating to how this blog was put together, and because it is mainly technical details, most of the future posts in this category will be done by Paul.

Paul will show you exactly which themes, plug-ins etc, etc we have used – who we used as a graphics designer (an up and coming young lad!) – and anything else we learned along the way!

Starting A Membership Blog!

The idea for a membership blog has been thrown around for quite some time and it wasn’t until I recently saw a piece by John Taylor that I realised I must get on and make a start with one.

Together with Paul Johnson, my friendly “techie guy”, I – or WE – have come up with this. WE hope you enjoy it – either as a FREE observer or as a PAID member! Obviously the blog is entitled “Funny Way To Make A Living” – and we will hopefully ensure that it has enough content to make you want to join (the link is here!) and continue to receive hints and tips on making a success online.

Hello world!

Welcome to my blog!

I thought it would be nice to keep the original Post in here! Hello World!

I wonder just how many of those posts are scattered around the internet?? If you search Google you will find (currently) 11.5 million results – and one interesting fact is that the one of the original uses of “Hello World” was a computer program – I can remember programing this in basic nearly 30 years ago! – which produced an out put of “Hello World!” when run.
